The principle of continuous improvement is the guiding principle of the new High Level Structure (HLS) of ISO. If leaders put their shoulders to it. The support has to be real. That is why the new HLS emphasizes on leadership: \u2018<i>Top management shall demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the quality management system by\u2026<\/i>\u2019 (chapter 5 of ISO 9001:2015, p. 3)<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-35a485c elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"35a485c\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-e7098dc\" data-id=\"e7098dc\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-33a839c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"33a839c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">How can you counter possible pitfalls, <br>with respect to the implementation of a management system?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-10d5c87 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"10d5c87\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The target is to build a pragmatic and workable system. But what are the possible pitfalls in the implementation of a management system? We give a number of tips to avoid common pitfalls:<\/p><ul><li>Never implement something without asking for input of the employees concerned.<\/li><li>KISS: keep it stupid and simple! Too complex procedures are often not applied in practice. It has to be intuitive. How many buttons have you already used from your thermostat?<\/li><li>Reflect before you start: what do you want to achieve with your system?<\/li><li>Ensure that the relationship between input and output is understandable (avoid the \u2018black box syndrome\u2019)<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-bbce0ec elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"bbce0ec\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-f7f9b6d\" data-id=\"f7f9b6d\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6ad9524 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"6ad9524\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Benefits of a working management system<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9ff3980 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9ff3980\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Quality was initially only checked at the end of production. They then checked whether or not a product was of high quality and if not, it was decommissioned so that it did not reach the customer. Sustainability was not recognized. Through a system you will monitor the quality during the process, which is cost saving. If you are concerned with \u2018how\u2019 you produce something you <b>build sustainability into the system<\/b>. In other words, systems have created a transition: \u2018focus on the product\/service \u00e0 focus on the process\u2019. This has led to an enormous development of quality, environmental and safety awareness.<\/p><ul><li>Costs of decommissioning an end product are much higher than to intervene as an interim measure.<\/li><li>By focusing on the process, quality control in the end of the production process is almost redundant.<\/li><li>Quality control during the process ensures, as it were, the specifications of the end product.<\/li><\/ul><p>A system can <b>increase transparency and involvement<\/b>.<\/p><p>A system <b>forces you to act proactively<\/b> instead of reactively<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-12cecb4 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"12cecb4\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-adbf68f\" data-id=\"adbf68f\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7f6a3b8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7f6a3b8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">A glimpse ahead...<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9a11094 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9a11094\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In 2015-versions of ISO the process is crucial. If we were to take a gamble, we would say that sustainability will be probably the central concept in the next versions of ISO. How can we connect our different systems (quality management system, environmental management system, safety management system\u2026)?
