Since then, the HS has been used in all new and revised ISO<\/span>management system standards\u00a0<span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">recorded.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px;\">Have you never heard of the High Level Structure (HLS)? So any additional standard you wanted to implement as an organization had\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px; text-align: left;\">to some extent their own method of formulating requirements. There was a great lack of uniformity.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px; text-align: left;\">In 2012, the High Level Structure (HLS) was introduced in response to this problem. Since then\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"letter-spacing: 0px; text-align: left;\">the HLS forms the basis for all new and updated ISO management standards.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-7888b63 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"7888b63\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-24a2936\" data-id=\"24a2936\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-46819c2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"46819c2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The HLS consists of\u00a0<span style=\"color: #d12c36;\"><b>10 universal chapters<\/b><\/span> each with a set of core elements that as a whole serve as a unified basic structure and requirements.\u00a0<\/p><p>Each management standard supplements the HLS with specific requirements of certain aspects, such as quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001), information security (ISO 27001) or health and safety at work (ISO 45001). These management system standards <em>plugs<\/em> in on the HLS, so to speak.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div In this model, standards and guidelines align with a set of common \"core requirements.
